Karl August Mühlhäußer

Karl August Mühlhäußer (born February 26, 1825 in Kleinkems near Lörrach , † January 20, 1881 in Wilferdingen ) was a German theologian and politician . He was a member of the Baden state parliament .

Life

Born the son of a pastor , after attending the Lyceum in Heidelberg he studied Protestant theology in Heidelberg from 1843 , where he became a member of the Old Heidelberg Burschenschaft Allemannia in 1844 and of the Teutonia Heidelberg Burschenschaft in 1845 . After positions as city vicar, court and city deacon in Karlsruhe and pastor in Sulzfeld , he became pastor in Wilferdingen in 1857. He was one of the founders of the evangelical-conservative party movement and was elected to the Baden state parliament, to which he belonged from 1867–1870 and 1879–1880.
