Karl Bürgler
Karl Bürgler CSsR (born November 4, 1943 in Illgau ) is a Swiss religious and emeritus Apostolic Vicar of Reyes .
Life
Karl Bürgler joined the Congregation of the Redemptorists in and received on 18 May 1973, the priestly ordination . He then went to the mission.
Pope John Paul II appointed him on January 24, 1997 as Apostolic Coadjutor Vicar of Reyes and Titular Bishop of Sinnipsa . The episcopal ordination donated him Roger-Émile Aubry CSsR, the Vicar Apostolic of Reyes, on April 11th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Edmundo Luis Flavio Abastoflor Montero , Archbishop of La Paz , and Julio Terrazas Sandoval CSsR, Archbishop of Santa Cruz de la Sierra .
When Roger-Émile Aubrys CSsR retired on May 1, 1999, he succeeded him as Vicar Apostolic of Reyes.
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on February 18, 2019.
