Karl Iro (born September 25, 1861 in Eger (Cheb) , Bohemia , † October 12, 1934 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician of the German National Party (DnP).

education and profession

After attending elementary school , he went to a lower secondary school and was editor of the magazine “Unadulterated German Words” in Vienna.

Political functions

• March 27, 1897 to January 30, 1907: Member of the House of Representatives in the Reichsrat ( IX and X legislative periods ), Curia Landgemeinden 30; Region Plan , Tepl , Marienbad , Weseritz , Tachau , Luditz , Buchau , Manetin ; Crown land of Bohemia (resignation announced at the session on October 13, 1897, then re-elected on March 21, 1898)
• June 17, 1907 to November 12, 1918: Member of the House of Representatives in the Reichsrat ( 11th and 12th legislative periods ), electoral district Böhmen 120 , first Pan-German group , then non-attached
• 1895–1913: Member of the Bohemian Landtag

Political mandates

• October 21, 1918 to February 16, 1919: Member of the Provisional National Assembly , DnP
