Karl Johanny

Karl Johanny (born June 12, 1940 in Berlin ) is a German administrative lawyer and ministerial official.

Career

Johanny studied law at the Julius Maximilians University . In 1961 he was reciprocated in the Corps Bavaria Würzburg . Honored as consenior and senior , he moved to the Ludwig Maximilians University in 1962 . There he was also active in the Corps Suevia Munich . In 1965/66 he studied political science in the United States . In 1966 he was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD. After military service and assessor examination, he joined the Federal Armed Forces administration and from 1971 worked in the Federal Ministry of Defense . 1982–1987 he was on leave as advisor for foreign, defense, Germany and development policy to the CDU / CSU parliamentary group in the German Bundestag . On October 3, 1990, he became the first president of the newly established Military District Administration VII in Strausberg . From August 1995 to 1997 he was head of the social affairs department in the Ministry of Defense as ministerial director , and from 1998 head of defense, infrastructure and environmental protection there. He is the editor of the series My Rights as a Conscript . 2008–2011 he sat on the Bonn board of the Association of Old Corps Students .
