Karl Joppich (born January 6, 1908 , † July 15, 1940 ) was a German football player .

Joppich, who worked as a businessman, belonged to SV Hoyerswerda 1919 from 1931 to 1940 , for which he played point games in the A-class Niederlausitz in the championships organized by the Southeast German Football Association until the end of the 1932/33 season . As the high point of his career, he came as a midfielder on October 30, 1932 in Budapest for his only international appearance . With a substitute for Ludwig Leinberger , who was substituted in the 31st minute due to an injury , he made his debut in the senior national team . In the 1: 2 defeat against the Hungarian national team , the center striker Richard Malik , who also made his debut, scored the only goal for his team with the equalizer in the 77th minute.
