Karl Rust
Karl Rust (born April 19, 1891 in Röcke, today Bückeburg , † June 19, 1960 in Wangerooge ) was a German local politician of the FDP and a manufacturer. From 1959 to 1960 he was mayor of the city of Minden ( Westphalia ).
Life and work
Karl Rust worked as a manufacturer of uniforms in Minden.
On June 19, 1960, he drowned while on the island of Wangerooge in the North Sea .

From November 9, 1956 to August 7, 1959, Karl Rust was deputy mayor of the city of Minden. After the resignation of Mayor Albrecht Hattenhauer ( CDU ), Karl Rust was elected as his successor by the city council on August 7, 1959.
