Karl Stankewitz

Karl Stankewitz (born May 1, 1875 in Memel , † October 1, 1967 in St. Ottilien , Upper Bavaria ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer , lawyer and district administrator in the Braunsberg district , East Prussia province .

Life

Stankewitz began his professional career in 1900 as a court trainee and became a court assessor in 1907. From 1912 he worked as a magistrate in Darkehmen and from 1920 in Allenstein . He was promoted to District Court Councilor (AGerR) and served as District Administrator in Braunsberg (East Pr.) Until he was put into temporary retirement on June 15, 1933 .

Stankewitz was a member of the provincial parliament of the province of East Prussia as well as a member of the Center Party .

From 1935 until the end of the war in 1945, Stankewitz worked as a lawyer at the OLG Königsberg . In 1951 he served as Senate President at the Oberversicherungsamt in Augsburg .
