Karl Wielandt (Senior Administrator)

Karl Friedrich Rudolf Wielandt (born March 26, 1820 in Karlsruhe ; † January 3, 1884 there ) was a German administrative officer and judge.

Life

Karl Wielandt, son of a ministerial assistant, studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg from 1837 to 1842 after graduating from the Lyceum in Karlsruhe . In 1838 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . In 1844 he passed the legal examination and was then a legal intern at the Karlsruhe City Office. In 1848 he became secretary in the Baden Ministry of the Interior. In 1849 he moved to Offenburg as an official assessor and in 1852 as a court judge to Freiburg . In 1853 he was appointed bailiff and board member of the Lahr district office . In 1857 he was promoted to senior bailiff. In 1858 he became court judge of the Upper Rhine District in Freiburg, 1864 district judge there and 1867 district judge in Karlsruhe and member of the appellate senate. In 1871 he became director of the Karlsruhe District and Court Court. From 1879 to his death in 1884 he was Senate President of the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe .
