Karl von Baden (1476–1510)

Karl von Baden (born May 21, 1476 ; † October 7, 1510 in Strasbourg ) was a Baden (titular) - margrave and canon in Strasbourg and Trier .

He was a son of Christoph I and Ottilie von Katzenelnbogen . As a posthumous son, he joined the clergy and was canon 1486 in Strasbourg, 1490 Canon Speyer, 1498 domkustos in Strasbourg and 1499-1503 canon of Cologne. In 1506 he took part in the election of bishops in Strasbourg.

He was buried in the Strasbourg cathedral . He is shown on the margrave tablet with his family between his brother Jakob and his father.
