Karl Friedrich Ferdinand Vincent von Bothmer (born September 27, 1799 in Stolzenau ; † May 9, 1852 at Gut Karow near Labes ) was a German lawyer and a Hanoverian judiciary .

family

He came from the baronial line Bothmer . His father was the bailiff and landowner Ferdinand Anton Friedrich Wilhelm von Bothmer . The Minister Friedrich von Bothmer was his older brother.

Bothmer married on December 26, 1832 in Castle Ricklingen in Wunstorf Adelheid von Alten (born July 2, 1812 in Katlenburg at Göttingen , † 23 May 1884 in Karow), daughter of Charles of old , Hanoverian chief captain of the Office Ricklingen and landowners on Dunau ( Linden district ), and Louise von Wedemeyer . His sons were Albert , Bernhard and Ferdinand Freiherr von Bothmer .

Life

Bothmer studied law at the University of Göttingen from 1817 to 1824 , where he became a member of the Corps Bremensia . From 1821 to 1824 he worked as an auditor and in 1825 joined the Göttingen law firm as an assessor . In 1826 he was appointed to the judiciary. In 1837 he moved to the Westerhof office , and in 1839 to the Rethem office . In 1845 he was given leave of absence and from then on lived as a manor owner in Karow. In 1850 he was finally retired by the Hanover government.

From May 18, 1848 to May 12, 1849 Bothmer represented the 3rd Hanover constituency in Blumenau as a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly . He belonged first to the conservative faction Café Milani , then later to the right-wing liberal casino . From May 13, 1848 to June 30, 1849 Bothmer was also the Hanoverian authorized representative at the Provisional Central Authority .
