Johann Nepomuck Karl von Hohenzollern-Hechingen (born July 25, 1732 in Freiburg im Breisgau , † August 11, 1803 in Oliva ) was Prince-Bishop of Warmia .

Karl von Hohenzollern-Hechingen came from a Catholic line of the House of Hohenzollern . He was the youngest of thirteen children of the imperial field marshal Hermann Friedrich von Hohenzollern-Hechingen (1665–1733).

Life

Karl von Hohenzollern-Hechingen was Commendatarabb of the monastery Oliva and Pelplin since 1778 as well as titular bishop of Dibona , from 1785 to 1795 bishop of Kulm ( Culm ) and from 1795 to 1803 prince-bishop of Warmia . His successor as prince-bishop was after a vacancy in 1808 his nephew Joseph von Hohenzollern-Hechingen , whom he had drawn attention to a spiritual career.
