Karl von Schlieffen
Karl Otto Graf von Schlieffen (born May 14, 1860 in Vossfeld in Mecklenburg , † 1946 in Malchow Monastery ) was a Mecklenburg manor owner and court official.
Life
Karl von Schlieffen was the son of the entails owner on Schwandt and Vossfeld (e) (both today districts of Rosenow ) Otto Graf von Schlieffen and Anna, born. from Voss . After visiting the Ritterakademie Brandenburg and Katharineum of Luebeck , which he completed in Easter 1880 with high school, he studied at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg , the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn and the Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Berlin right and camera science . In 1881 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After his traineeship he became the owner of the entails on Schwandt and Vossfeld. He was the Grand Ducal Chamberlain in Mecklenburg-Schwerin . His marriage to Elisabeth von Oertzen remained childless.
