Karoline Praises
The Karolineprisen is a Norwegian award and is considered the most prestigious young talent award in the country. Pupils from secondary schools are honored who have distinguished themselves exceptionally in sport, music or the arts and at the same time can demonstrate very good academic achievements.
The prize was initially endowed with 15,000 Norwegian kroner and was awarded by the secondary school and commercial school section of the Oslo private school Wang videregående skole . It is now awarded by the sports school section and the prize money has been increased to 20,000 crowns. The award is named after the first female laureate .
