Karyn Ballance (* 1973 in Wellington as Karyn Mills ) is a former triathlete from New Zealand and a two-time Ironman winner (2002 and 2004). She is included in the best list of New Zealand triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

Karyn Ballance was active in cycling and running in her youth, started her first triathlon over the Olympic distance in 1992 (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running) and was able to qualify for the 1994 World Cup in the New Zealand team.

She lives with her husband, the triathlete Scott Ballance (won the Ironman New Zealand in 1994 ) in Christchurch , on the southern island of New Zealand.

It has not appeared internationally since 2007.
