Kasime Adilo

Kasime Adilo (also: Kasime Adilo Roba or Kasine Adilo ; born January 25, 1979 ) is an Ethiopian marathon runner .

In 2005 he won the Reims Marathon in 2:12:09 h. The following year, he placed second in the Ottawa Marathon , but was part of a group of athletes who ran a distance of 400m short due to a misdirection, which is why his time of 2:10:48 was canceled.

In 2007 he finished third in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in his personal best of 2:10:20, and in 2008, after finishing second in the Houston Marathon and fifth in the Boston Marathon, he won the Istanbul Marathon . In 2009 he won again in Istanbul.

Kasime Adilo lives in Addis Ababa and is trained by his older brother Haji Adilo . He is married to his fellow runner Teyba Erkesso .
