Kaspar Karik (born September 25, 1990 in Tallinn , Estonian SSR ) is a former Estonian ice hockey player who was last under contract with HC Panter Tallinn in the Meistriliiga until 2015 .

Career

Karik began his career as a hockey player in his hometown of Tallinn with HK Stars , for whom he made his debut in the Meistriliiga at the age of 15 and with whom he immediately became Estonian champions in 2006 . In the following years he played for the Tallinna Eagles , Purikad Tallinn and the Estonian U20 selection also in the Meistriliiga. In 2009 he ventured to Germany and played for ESV Kaufbeuren in the junior Bundesliga, but was also used once in the second Bundesliga . After only a year he returned to Estonia and initially played for the lower class Elioni SK. Since 2011 he has played for HC Panter Tallinn again in the Meistriliiga, where he ended his career in 2015.

International

For Estonia, Karik took part in the U18 World Championships in Division II in 2007 and 2008 as well as in the U20 World Championships in Division II in 2008 and 2010 and in Division I in 2009 .

He played with the men's national team at the World Championships in Division II in 2009 and 2010 and in Division I in 2015 .
