Kaspar Usefulel

Kaspar Nutzel (* 1471 in Nuremberg ; † September 25, 1529 ) was a Nuremberg patrician and councilor of the city.

Kaspar Vorteilel belonged to the Staupitz group and was an advocate of Martin Luther's teachings at an early age . Probably before Christmas 1517 he translated Martin Luther's 95 theses into German, as mentioned in a letter from Christoph Scheurl dated January 8, 1518. This earliest German-language translation to be dated is only documented by reports, but has not become known bibliographically.
