Kaspar Toggenburger

Kaspar Toggenburger (* 1960 in St. Gallen ) is a Swiss artist .

Life

Kaspar Toggenburger attended the graphic design class at the School of Design in St. Gallen between 1978 and 1982. From 1982 to 1984 he completed further training with Alfred Kobel , Max Oertli and Clément Moreau . In 1984 he began studying at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris , which he graduated in 1989. In 1991 he settled in Winterthur and founded a studio there. In 1992 and 1993 he completed three guest semesters at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with AR Penck . He has been a member of the Winterthur artist group since 1995 and of Xylon Switzerland since 1996 . Toggenburger lives in Winterthur and Wil SG .
