Kaspars Dubra (born December 20, 1990 in Riga ) is a Latvian football player . The defender currently plays for FK Rīgas Futbola Skola and the Latvian national soccer team .

Career

Kaspars Dubra started his career in his hometown Riga in the youth department of Skonto Riga , JFC Skonto, which took over the name Olimps Riga in 2005 . At Olimps, the defender played his first professional season in Virslīga in the 2008 season at the age of 17 . The tall defender has been back on the pitch at Skonto Riga since 2009, where he was awarded the title of Player of the Month for July by the Latvian Football Association in the 2010 season . He was also able to secure the title with the Latvian record champions. After three seasons with Skonto, Dubra moved to Poland to Polonia Bytom in January 2012 . With the club from the Ekstraklasa he signed a contract until the end of the season . After only four league games until the end of the season, Dubra moved back to Latvia for FK Ventspils .

Dubra made his debut in the A-Eleven against China for the Latvian football team .
