Katharina Höcker

Katharina Höcker (born July 26, 1960 in Kiel ) is a German writer . She is the author of prose texts , poems and scripts .

Life

Katharina Höcker completed a degree in literature and political science in Hamburg . She then worked for the Hamburg Film Fund until 1991 . Today she lives as a freelance writer in Hamburg.

Katharina Höcker is a member of the Association of German Writers .

Awards

She received u. a. The following awards: 1991, 1997 and 2003 a literary award from the City of Hamburg , 1998 the Friedrich Hebbel Prize , 1996 a grant from the Worpsweder Künstlerhäuser , 1998 a residency grant from the Künstlerhaus Kloster Cismar , 1999 a grant from the Künstlerhof Schreyahn and in 2003 a grant from the Künstlerhaus Edenkoben .
