Katie Boland
Katherine Lenora "Katie" Boland (born February 14, 1988 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian actress .
Career
Boland was best known in her youth for her roles in the Canadian children's series Noddy and The Zack Files . Since then, she has taken on major roles in many television films and played a leading role in the drama miniseries Terminal City . Boland played Christine on the 2007 Hallmark Channel The Note and the 2009 sequel, Taking a Chance on Love . She also starred in various independent films such as Some Things That Stay , Mount Pleasant , Adoration , Growing Op and Daydream Nation . In 2009 Elle Canada chose her as one of the three Canadians to watch.
Boland wrote the Hulu - web series Long story short, in which they themselves play a major role and her mother Gail Harvey directed. The series was filmed in the house Boland grew up in and was based on her essays The Summer I Lost My Mind .
Private life
Boland lives in Los Angeles and Toronto. She writes literary texts and works as a journalist for the Toronto Star , Blog TO, SheDoesTheCity and TChad Quarterly. She also writes a blog that contains excerpts from her fictional and non-fictional texts.
