Katja Greulich (born March 25, 1985 in Leipzig ) is a former German soccer player and today's trainer .
Career
Player
society
Greulich started her career at 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig and played 47 games in the regional league and the 2nd Bundesliga between 2006 and 2010 . In the summer of 2010, she left 1. FC Lok Leipzig and moved to Halleschen FC, where she won the 2010/2011 state cup. After a year Greulich left Halle and returned to Lok Leipzig. There she played for the second and third team until 2013. In 2015 Greulich helped out again for two games at the regional league team FFV Leipzig II , which emerged in 2013 from the women's football department of 1. FC Lok.
International
From 2007 Greulich belonged to the General German University Sports Association and plays there in the women's national soccer team.
trainer
In the summer of 2011, in addition to her active career, she took over the C-Juniors at 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig, where she worked as a trainer until February 2012. On February 17, 2012, she was appointed Daniel Kraus' assistant trainer at the Bundesliga club FF USV Jena , where she worked until summer 2015. In the 2016 season Greulich was the assistant coach of the Dane Jack Majgaard Jensen at the Swedish first division club FC Rosengård . After her return to Germany, she took over the Bundesliga club FF USV Jena in November 2016 as the successor to Christian Franz-Pohlmann . After the relegation of FF USV Jena at the end of the 2017/18 season, the expiring contract with Greulich was not extended and she took over the coaching position at regional league team RB Leipzig for the 2018/19 season , where she signed a contract until 2021.

Greulich studied sports science at the University of Leipzig from 2005 .
