Katrin Kirchner (born October 6, 1944 in Herchen , today Windeck ) is a German author and journalist .

Career

Kirchner writes fiction and children's books . She grew up in Bonn on the Rhine and in Bad Honnef . She has lived in Mutterstadt (Palatinate) since 1972 . She has two sons and three granddaughters and one grandson.

As a journalist she worked for Time Life and Daily Express , as well as for the Bonner Rundschau , the WDR and the Deutsche Ärzteblatt . She worked as a Bundestag assistant for Hans Bardens both in the Bundeshaus in Bonn and in his constituency of Ludwigshafen am Rhein . She then worked as an editor in the area of ​​public relations for the city of Ludwigshafen. After the child break, she worked in the area of town twinning , in adult education and in senior work for the Ludwigshafen city administration until she retired .

Since 1986 the first literary publications have appeared in anthologies, literary magazines and the daily press. In 2005 the artist's book Skin Feeling - Caresses was published with Franco-German love poems. In 2008 the children's book Hast du Ton was published with illustrations by Isabel Rodrigues-Konrad. She is a member of the Literary Association of the Palatinate in the Rhineland-Palatinate-Saar literature factory, the Association of German Writers (VS) and synthetic fiber, a network of female artists in the Rhine-Palatinate district. In 2014, the second artist book Armorika - Land am Meer appeared. A declaration of love, also with etchings by Günther Berlejung and poems in German and French on the subject of Brittany .
