Katrin "Katty" Salié (born May 17, 1975 in Salzgitter ) is a German journalist and television presenter .
Life
Salié studied French literature , history and media studies in Paderborn and Brussels , and she also graduated from the RTL journalism school for TV and multimedia . She initially moderated for the RBB youth radio Fritz and for the WDR radio station 1 Live .
From 2003 to 2004 Salié presented the program Guten Abend RTL for RTL West . From April 2005 to the end of 2011 she regularly presented the culture magazine west.art on WDR. From the beginning of 2007 to the end of 2015, she ran the travel magazine Hin & Weg on Deutsche Welle TV . In addition, between 2007 and 2009 she presented Weltbilder on NDR television . In addition, she provided other moderations and reports for RBB and WDR at irregular intervals and traveled for the WDR travel magazine Wunderschön! through Europe.
Salié has been moderating the culture magazine aspekte on ZDF since January 13, 2012 . Initially alone, from February 2014 to September 2016 as a changing duo with Tobias Schlegl or Jo Schück and since then weekly with Jo Schück, since Tobias Schlegl left the show.
She lives in Cologne with her husband and daughter .
