McCargo mainly took part in the Nor-Am Cup from 2010 to 2014. She won two races and finished fourth in the 2012/13 season and second place in the Moguls discipline in the 2013/14 season. In the World Cup , she made her debut on January 17, 2013 in Lake Placid and achieved 24th place in the Moguls. At the Junior World Championships 2013 in Chiesa in Valmalenco , she won the gold medal in the Moguls and in the Dual Moguls. In the 2013/14 season she came tenth in the Moguls in Lake Placid and sixth in the Dual Moguls in Voss for the first time among the top ten in the World Cup. At the 2014 Junior World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco, she won the bronze medal in the Dual Moguls and the gold medal in the Moguls.
In the 2014/15 season McCargo achieved four top 10 placings in the World Cup and at the end of the season he was eleventh in the Moguls World Cup. At the season highlight, the 2015 World Championships on Kreischberg , she took 13th place in the Dual Moguls and 12th place in the Moguls. In March 2016 she became the American Mughal Master. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season she came on the podium for the first time in the World Cup in Ruka with third place in the Moguls. In the further course of the season she reached five top 10 placements in the World Cup and finally sixth place in the Moguls World Cup. At the 2017 World Championships in Sierra Nevada , she was tenth in the moguls and eighth in the dual moguls.
