Kelli Giddish (* 13. April 1980 in Cumming , Georgia ) is an American actress .

life and career

Giddish had her first television appearance in 2005 in the US soap opera All My Children , where she was first seen as Diana "Di" Henry . Giddish played the role until they retired from the series in late 2007. Supporting roles followed in several films and guest appearances in several television series, including Damages - Im Netz der Macht (2007) and in the US adaptation of the BBC series Life on Mars - Trapped in the 70s (2009). Between 2006 and 2007 Giddish also played the role of Courtney in the web series The Burg for twelve episodes , and she had another appearance on the series in 2009.

In 2010, the actress got two main series roles: In the spring of that year she starred in the mystery crime series Past Life as psychologist Kate McGinn , in autumn 2010 she played the role of US Marshal Annie Frost in the police drama series Chase . However, both series were canceled after the first season due to poor viewership.

In 2011 Giddish was first seen in a minor supporting role in the second season of Good Wife , where she played Sophia Russo , the lover of Kalinda Sharma ( Archie Panjabi ). The character makes an appearance in the first episode of the third season. Several appearances were originally planned, but Giddish declined in favor of another role: In the thirteenth season of the crime series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , the actress took on a series lead role as Detective Amanda Rollins ; the season has aired in the US since September 2011. In 2007 Giddish had a guest appearance on the series, but in a different role. In 2012 Giddish starred alongside Gina Gershon , Val Kilmer and Ray Liotta in the comedy Breathless - Always Trouble with Dale .

Kelli Giddish has been married since June 2015 and has two sons (* 2015 and 2018).
