Ken Kwapis

Kenneth William "Ken" Kwapis (born August 17, 1957 in Belleville , Illinois ) is an American film and television director .

Kenneth William Kwapis was established in August 1957 in Belleville in the US state of Illinois born. He graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts . In 1982 he was recognized for his graduation film at the Student Academy Awards . He made his debut as a director in 1983 directing an episode of the CBS Afternoon Playhouse series . Two years later he made his first feature film, Bibo's adventurous escape . Various film and television productions followed, with a particular focus on comedies . For example, between 2000 and 2004, Kwapis staged twenty episodes of the television series Malcolm right in the middle .

Kwapis was nominated for an Emmy in 2002 for directing an episode of the television series Das Büro .
