Ken Pogue

Kenneth "Ken" Pogue (born July 26, 1934 , † December 15, 2015 ) was a Canadian actor who has participated in 21 films and series in his 33-year career.

Life

His first participation in a film was in 1969. The film was The Three Musketeers . In the 1973 film The Odyssey of Neptune , he almost drowned in diving gear.

From 1960 to 1980 he also worked at the Crest Theater, the Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, the St. Lawrence Center for the Arts and the Guthrie Theater before switching to television and film. Other roles in the cinema include Silent Partner (1978), Lost and Found (1979), Virus (1980), Suzanne (1980), The Gray Fox (1982), Dead Zone (1983, as Vice President), Kane & Abel ( 1985), Law of Vengeance (1986), Dead of Winter (1987), Crazy Moon (1987), and Chuck Norris - Hitman (1991) with Chuck Norris . He also took part in the film Riders on Scorched Earth and was Father Dominic in the film The Mermaid Chair .

One of his notable roles is Gerrard in CTV Pilot for Sur Foresee in 1994. He premiered on CBS in the United States and also appeared in the film No Mercy. Pogue played his character again in Station 2 "Bird in Hand", where the cop Benton Fraser (Paul Brutus) is forced to choose between duty and revenge.

He was married to actress Diana Barrington until his death. Pogue died of cancer nine days before Christmas in 2015.
