Kenneth A. Maple

Kenneth A. Maple (born January 21, 1968 in Bournemouth , United Kingdom ) is a German radio comedian .

He was born to British soldier Gordon C. Maple and commercial clerk Karin H. DeLage. After his father died from cancer in 1972, he, his older brother and his mother moved to their hometown of Berlin. He grew up there and quickly became interested in the stage and radio.

After a three-year training course as an administrative clerk at the Federal Employment Agency, which began in 1985 , he initially worked for smaller local stations, and from 1990 onwards at RTL Radio Luxembourg . In 1991 he started a traineeship at 104.6 RTL , where he became a gag author and entertainment editor for Berlin's morning show “ Arno and the Morning Crew ”.

He is the inventor and maker of the radio comedy "Maple & Schrobinski", where he lends his voice to both characters.

From 1994 to 1999 he was deputy editor and morning show producer at 104.6 RTL.

In 1999 he switched to Berliner Rundfunk 91.4 . There he was a comedy writer and editor in charge of the Ilja Richter radio show. In 2000 he later became head of radio advertising and mainly wrote product marketing. He also worked as a gag writer for RTL Television and Saarländischer Rundfunk .

He has been self-employed since the beginning of 2002 and advises stations in the entertainment sector. His comedy "Meckel & Strohwinski" is based locally and regionally on the needs of the station today. It runs on various radio stations, 105'5 Spreeradio , Ostseewelle Hit-Radio Mecklenburg-Vorpommern , Radio Ramasuri and Antenne Vorarlberg .

At the same time, he has been working as a program coach and consultant since 2002.
