Kenneth Connor

Kenneth Connor (born June 6, 1916 in London , † November 28, 1993 ) was a British actor .

Life

Connor was the son of a British naval officer. At the beginning of his career he played - often together with his brother - in various revue performances. He opted for professional training as an actor and attended several drama schools. After six years of military service, he played in various theaters and made a name for himself as a comedian in various radio play productions.

This is how Gerald Thomas , the director of the Carry-on… film series, became aware of him. Connor starred in 17 films in the popular series.

He died of cancer on November 28, 1993.
