Not so great, sweetie (later also It's crazy - not so great, sweetie ) is the fifth film in the series of carry-on ... films .

content

Six people who cannot find a job are referred from the employment office to Bert Handy’s employment agency Helping Hands . The helping hands do all kinds of work. The six newbies now have to do the strangest work. But with a lot of work and commitment, all work is carried out - albeit often in an unconventional way.

Remarks

For the first time director Gerald Thomas worked here with his brother Ralph as co-director, which only happened once more - in the following film It's crazy - the ship's cook is seasick . Since the film does not have a uniform plot, but only a framework that connects the individual sketch-like assignments, a division of labor makes perfect sense here. Nevertheless, the film does not appear uniform throughout. Since the film has no real plot, it is only logical that the title in the original has no meaningful message.

The British cult comedian Stanley Unwin has his only, but still legendary, appearance here and gives some examples of his trademark, the artificial language Unwinese, named after him and invented by him .
