Kerim Avcı (born December 16, 1989 in Dortmund ) is a German - Turkish soccer player.

Career

Avcı was born to parents of Turkish origin in Dortmund . Here he went through the youth departments of TSC Eintracht Dortmund and SG Wattenscheid 09 before moving to Rot-Weiss Essen in summer 2008 . Here he played for two years for the reserve team before he was accepted into the professional squad from 2010. In the spring he then moved to the first division club Kayseri Erciyesspor .

For the second half of the 2014/15 season he was loaned to the second division Altınordu Izmir . At the end of the season he returned to Erciyesspor. At this club, which had since been relegated to the TFF 1st Lig , he started the 2015/16 season and completed two league games, but he moved to league rivals Balıkesirspor within the summer transfer period . After half a season he changed employers again and was signed by the second division club Sivasspor .

In the summer of 2017 he returned to Altınordu Izmir and moved on to league rivals Gazişehir Gaziantep FK after one season .
