Anton Puzila ( Belarusian Антон Пуціла , Russian Антон Путило / Anton Putilo ; born June 10, 1987 in Orsha ) is a Belarusian football player .

Career

In January 2004 Puzila moved as a teenager from RUOR Minsk (Dinamo Minsk Reserves) to Dinamo Minsk. In the 2007/08 season, the midfielder completed 21 games for Minsk in the Wyschejschaja Liha , in which he scored one goal.

At the beginning of 2008 he was loaned from HSV , where he was substituted in the 1st Bundesliga in the second half of the 2007/08 season, however, only three times in the final minutes. After his loan contract expired, he returned to Dinamo Minsk on January 1, 2009 ; Hamburger SV did not withdraw the negotiated purchase option. In the 2010/11 season he played four games in the Europa League qualification for Dinamo, in which he scored three times. However, he missed qualifying for the Europa League in the play-off games against Club Brugge .

On August 28, 2010 Puzila's move to SC Freiburg became known. The parties have agreed not to disclose the transfer fee. On September 17th of the same year, the Belarusian was in the starting line-up of the Breisgauer against Eintracht Frankfurt for the first time and thus also completed his first league game for the Bundesliga club.

On February 18, 2013, Puzila prematurely terminated his contract with SC Freiburg and moved to the Russian first division club Volga Nizhny Novgorod .

For the 2015/16 season he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig to Gaziantepspor .

National team

He scored one goal in six appearances in the Belarusian U-21 national team . On February 4, 2008, he made his debut in the senior national team of his home country .

Surname

The German transcription of the Belarusian surname is Puzila, the English version Putsila. The FIFA , which relies usually on the English transcription, but uses different spelling Putsilo. The DFL used despite this deviation from FIFA, the English transcription Putsila.
The spelling Putilo is not very common, which corresponds to the (equally German and English) transcription of the Russian name.
