Merter Yüce (born February 18, 1985 in Bornova ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Yüce played for Altay Izmir in his youth . In the 2004/05 season he was appointed to the first team that played in the 2nd Turkish league . There he played five seasons and moved to the first division club Kayserispor in the summer of 2009 . After he spent the first half of the season here, he played the second half of the season on loan from second division club Kayseri Erciyesspor . This was followed by seasons at Giresunspor and Kardemir Karabükspor .

For the second half of the 2011/12 season he moved to the second division Akhisar Belediyespor . With this club they surprisingly reached the championship of the TFF 1st Lig and thus direct promotion to the Süper Lig .

For the 2016/17 season, Cebe left Akhisar Belediyespor after five seasons and 120 league games and instead switched to the second division side Sivasspor . Here he immediately established himself as a top performer and became Turkish second division champions of the 2011/12 season with his club . With this success Akhisar became the second district town after Akçaabat , which achieved participation in the Süper Lig with a club. Akçaabat was represented by Akçaabat Sebatspor in the Süper Lig from 2003 to 2005 . Due to the simultaneous relegation of Manisapor from the Süper Lig Akhisar Belediyespor was also the only representative of the Manisa province in the Süper Lig. In the top division, Yüce remained one of the team's most important performers.

In summer 2016 he and his teammate İsmail Konuk were signed by league rivals Bursaspor . In March 2018, his contract with Bursaspor was terminated.
