Leandro Deyrínio Kappel (born November 14, 1989 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch football player .

Career

The Surinamese Kappel started playing soccer in his native Amsterdam . He went through various amateur clubs and was at times also active in the youth of Ajax Amsterdam .

At the age of 20 he left the Netherlands for the first time and moved to Doxa Dramas in Greece, where he played a total of three seasons. After a short stay in Portugal at Sporting Braga , where he was mainly used in the reserve team, he moved back to Greece back to Panetolikos .

After two years, 56 championship appearances and nine goals for Panetolikos, Kappel moved to Denizlispor in Turkey for the 2016/17 season . Here he signed for two years and spent two successful seasons (59 appearances and 14 goals).

In the summer of 2018 he signed a contract with Altay Izmir, newly promoted to the second division .
