Kerri Green

Kerri Lee Green (born January 14, 1967 in Fort Lee , New Jersey ) is an American film actress .

Life

Kerri Green became known in 1985 as a child star - especially in the role of Andrea "Andy" Carmichael in the American youth film The Goonies . In the same year she starred alongside John Candy in the film A Totally Crazy Summer . As an actress, she was able to prevail among the critics with her role in the feature film Lucas at the side of Corey Haim . Her next film, Three on the Highway - Three for the Road (with Charlie Sheen and Alan Ruck ), however, proved unsuccessful commercially. She subsequently starred in an independent film and in the television series Crazy About You . Green then retired from acting and studied art at Vassar College near New York City .

In 1999 Green directed the film Bellyfruit for the production studio The Asylum , for which she also wrote the script. The production has so far been her only directorial work.

Green is married, lives in Los Angeles and writes scripts.
