Kerstin "Kessy" Schott (born December 1, 1980 ) is a German soccer player and coach .
Soccer
In the club
Schott played in his youth for SV 08 Wildenau and DFC Westsachsen Zwickau. In 1997 she left Zwickau and moved to FC Erzgebirge Aue . There she became a national selection player and played for the U-18, U-19 and U-20 of the Saxon Football Association (SFV) . In the summer of 2000 she moved up to the first team of Erzgebirge Aue and played for the club until the summer of 2004. In June 2004 she moved to 1. FC Nürnberg , where she went to city rivals Post SV Nürnberg after one season .
The defender came to TSV Crailsheim from Post SV Nürnberg in 2008 . She played her first Bundesliga game on September 7, 2008 in a 3-0 defeat against SC Freiburg . She completed 18 Bundesliga games for Crailsheim before leaving the club for 1. FC Nürnberg . A season in Nuremberg followed before she went to the Regionalliga Süd for SV 67 Weinberg . After half a year at Weinberg, where she just missed promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga South, she moved to SC Regensburg. She played for Regensburg in the Women's Bayern League until April 2012 and then returned to Post SV Nürnberg. She played in the first women's team at Post SV until April 2013, before ending her active career. From April 2013 to autumn 2014 she played for the small field team of Post SV Nürnberg . In the winter of 2014, she then joined FC Ezelsdorf , where she made her comeback on May 30, 2015 in the regional league of Middle Franconia in a 1-1 draw against TSV Frauenaurach.
As a trainer
Since March 2014, in addition to her playing career, she has been coach of the women's team at FC Ezelsdorf in the Upper Franconian regional league.
Personal
Schott is a police officer at the Koenigsbrunn Police Department . She took part in various German Police Championships as a track and field athlete for the Police Sports Board. Since May 2017 she and her registered partner have been the mother of triplets.
