Kevin Conboy (born October 15, 1987 in Esbjerg ) is a Danish - English football player . He is under contract with Randers FC in Denmark .

Career

Conboy is the son of a Danish father and an English mother; he has both Danish and British citizenship. He joined Jerne IF's youth as a child . Then he went to the youth of Esbjerg fB .

In 2006 he came to the second team and in January 2008 was taken over to the professional squad. He made his professional debut on April 12, 2008 when he was substituted on for Andreas Klarström in Esbjerg's 2-1 defeat by Brøndby IF in the 23rd minute . During the rest of the season he came to four more missions and ended the season with the team as seventh in the table. By the time the club was relegated after the 2010/11 season, Conboy had played 76 league games for Esbjerg fB.

For the 2011/12 season, Conboy signed a contract with NEC Nijmegen, who play in the Eredivisie . On September 25, 2011, the 7th matchday, he made his debut in a 2-0 defeat against RKC Waalwijk . On March 11, 2012, he scored his first goal in a 3-1 win on matchday 25 in the game against FC Twente with the goal to make it 2-0. This was his only goal in 26 games this season. The NEC Nijmegen finished eighth in the league and failed in the play-offs to qualify for the Europa League in the first round at Vitesse Arnhem . After the 2013/14 season he rose with NEC Nijmegen as table-17. from the Eredivisie from and after the 2014/15 season as a second division champion directly back to the Eredivisie. Overall, Conboy scored eight goals in 116 league games for NEC Nijmegen.

In September 2015 Conboy moved to FC Utrecht . He signed a contract until 2017. After playing for the reserve team of Utrecht on September 14, 2015 in a 3-2 win on matchday four of the “Beloften Eredivisie” at the reserves of FC Groningen for the Utrecht reserve team, he gave up on September 19 In 2015 his debut for the professional team, when he came on in the 67th minute for Louis Nganioni in the 1: 3 on matchday six at Willem II Tilburg . After a yellow-red suspension in the 1-0 win on matchday 15 at De Graafschap Doetinchem , he was absent from the next two games; from the 18th matchday he fell out due to a back injury until the end of the season. In August 2017, Conboy moved back to the Danish Super League and joined Randers FC .
