Kevin Jud

Kevin Jud (born December 4, 1992 in Uster ) is a Swiss handball player who is mostly used on the back center .

Career

The 1.83 m tall and 75 kg heavy right-handed player began playing the handball game in 2003 in his hometown on TV Uster. After three years he moved to HC Gelbschwarz Stäfa. Since the 2008/09 season he ran on the NLA and NLB team of the Lakers Stäfa . In 2011/12 he was the third best scorer in the NLA with 201 goals.

For the 2013/14 season he joined Pfadi Winterthur . Internationally, he reached the second qualifying round in the EHF Cup with scouts .

Kevin Jud was one of the most successful goal scorers of the Swiss junior teams. In 2010 he was the top scorer of the U-18 European Championship with 65 goals and finished sixth. At the U-19 World Championship in 2011, he was sixth again with the Swiss Juniors and scored 40 times. At the U-20 European Championship in 2012 he scored 27 goals and reached 8th place with his team. A year later it was enough for the 7th place at the U-21 World Handball Championship in 2013 and Jud was the third-best goalscorer with 52 goals.

In the Swiss senior national team he made his debut on October 3, 2013 against Slovenia and has so far played 16 international matches , in which he scored 16 goals. (As of January 2, 2019)
