Kevin Prindiville Farley (born June 8, 1965 in Madison , Wisconsin ) is an American actor , film director , production designer and composer .

life and career

Kevin Farley was born one of five children to Tom and Mary Anne Farley. He is the younger brother of comedian Chris Farley , who died in 1997 at the age of 33 as a result of a drug overdose. He also has three other siblings: Barb, a kindergarten teacher, Tom Jr., who works in a marketing company, and John , who is also an actor.

Kevin Farley graduated in business administration (business) at Marquette University in Milwaukee . After graduating, he sold asphalt for his father's company, Scotch Oil, for six years. However, Chris was able to convince him to try show business as well. Farley made his first stage appearance at the Chicago ImprovOlympic.

Farley achieved greater fame as Doug Linus , a member of the fictional boy band 2gether , which was also seen in the MTV film of the same name and the television series of the same name. Since 2004, Farley has directed three films, including 2013 Paranormal Movie , a film parody of films about supernatural events.

Farley was married to Denise Trotter since September 4, 2004. The marriage is now divorced.
