John Farley (born October 29, 1968 in Madison , Wisconsin ) is an American actor .

Life

John Farley is the youngest brother of the late celebrity comedian Chris Farley . He grew up as the son of the owner of the Scotch Oil Co. oil company in rural Wisconsin. John Farley studied marketing and graduated from Regis University in 1992 . He then turned to acting and, like his brother Chris a few years earlier, became a member of the improvisational theater group The Second City in Chicago.

Since 1993, John Farley has appeared in almost 50 feature films and around 30 television productions. In the 1990s he made minor appearances in his brother Chris' films. With his other brother Kevin P. Farley , who is also an actor, John Farley stood in the films A True Story - The Straight Story (1999) and Blond und Blonder (2007) in supporting roles as siblings in front of the camera. John Farley appears in many comedies by Adam Sandler and David Spade , although he usually only plays one or two scenes. Since 2019 he has acted as the announcer for David Spade's television show, Lights Out with David Spade .

John Farley has been married to actress Jennifer Farley since 2005 and has two children with her.
