action

After completing his studies, Ben was accepted for his dream job in New York, but before that he visits his hometown again, where his unemployed father Wayne lives. There he gets into a discussion with his school friend Larry about whose father would win a fight. Inspired by this, Wayne comes to Larry's father Mardy and challenges him to a fight in the course of which he falls on a neighbor's greenhouse and it is destroyed in the process. Then Wayne and his son are arrested. His future employer learns about this and withdraws the job offer. So that the neighbor can withdraw her criminal complaint, Ben agrees to build her a pool to compensate for the destroyed greenhouse.

Meanwhile, he gets closer to his former school friend and "first love" Meredith. Thanks to Larry's help, the neighbor takes back the criminal complaint, but Ben has to find out that his dream job has meanwhile been filled elsewhere. Wayne manages to arrange a meeting with the company's CEO. This is successful for Ben, but he turns down the job offer because he doesn't like the manager and he'd rather go back to his girlfriend Meredith.
