Reviews
Richard Leiby wrote in the Washington Post on February 3, 1996 that neither Aykroyd nor Belushi, Myers or Carvey would star in the comedy, but Chris Farley and David Spade would manage to “squeeze” humor out of childish gags. The subgenre of particularly stupid comedies means the return of the slapstick known from silent films.
Cinema described the comedy as "a half-baked copy of the recently launched 'Tommy Boy'".
The lexicon of international films wrote that the film was "a comedy with loud humor and awkwardly developed without nuances".
background
The film was one in Monrovia ( California ), in Monterey Park (California), in Buckley ( Washington ) and in Schomberg ( Ontario turned). It grossed approximately $ 32.4 million in US cinemas .
The Seattle-based grunge band Mudhoney will play at the party .
