Kibwe Johnson
Kibwe Johnson ( Kibwe Rasheid Johnson; born July 17, 1981 in San Francisco ) is an American hammer thrower .
In 2006 he became the national indoor runner-up in weight throwing . In 2007 he was US runner-up in hammer throw and won silver at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro .
In 2008 he was US indoor champion in weight throwing, in 2010 US runner-up in hammer throw.
In 2011 he drove as a US champion to the World Athletics Championships in Daegu , but retired in the qualification. At the end of the season he won the Pan American Games in Guadalajara .
He finished ninth at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and eighth at the 2014 Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech.
In 2015 he defended his title at the Pan American Games in Toronto .
Kibwe Johnson is 1.88 m tall and weighs 108 kg. He is trained by Anatolij Bondarchuk and starts for the New York Athletic Club.
