Kim Libreri

Kim Libreri (born before 1992) is a special effects artist who was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Visual Effects in 2007 for Poseidon .

Life

He graduated from Manchester University with a degree in computer science . He began his film career as a software developer for the London- based Computer Film Company . He then worked for three years at Cinesite Europe , a company founded by Kodak . There he was involved in films such as Space Jam , Event Horizon - At the Edge of the Universe and Mission: Impossible .

This was followed by a job at Manex Visual Effects before he founded ESC Entertainment in 2002 . He has been with Industrial Light & Magic since 2004 . In 2007 he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Visual Effects for Poseidon together with Boyd Shermis , Chas Jarrett and John Frazier .
