Kim McLagan (actually Maryse Elizabeth Patricia "Patsy" Kerrigan , also Kim Kerrigan ; born December 30, 1948 in Leicester , England , United Kingdom , † August 2, 2006 in Travis County , Texas ) was a British model during the 1960s . Life

Kerrigan grew up in Malaysia , where her parents ran a rubber tree plantation. When her family moved back to London , she began a career as a fashion model and changed her name to Kim Kerrigan to avoid confusion with her fellow model, Pattie Boyd , who married George Harrison of the Beatles. Kerrigan turn married in March 1966 Keith Moon , the drummer of the Who , she during a concert in Bournemouth had met. Their daughter, Amanda Jane, was born on July 12th. She later told about her marriage to Keith Moon that he had often brutally beaten her, broken her nose once, chased her through the apartment with a gun and forced her to give up her modeling career. In 1973 she left him and in 1975 the couple divorced. On October 9, 1978, shortly after Moon's death, she married her second husband, Ian McLagan of the Faces .

In 1994 the McLagans moved to Texas. Kim McLagan worked at a Lake Austin spa for several years before opening her own skin care salon on Highway 71 between Bastrop and Smithville . She died in a car accident in Travis County, Texas on August 2, 2006, at the age of 57.
