action
The drama takes place in a German workers' settlement in the 1960s . It's a hot summer and the holidays are just around the corner. The main character Micha is in the fourth grade and will switch to high school because of his good report . Regularly beaten by his irascible father and neglected by his mother, Micha spends his time with Kalli, a classmate who shines less through school achievements than through bad manners and drifting around. One day the mother leaves the family with Peter (Micha's younger brother). Finally there is a tragic ending between Micha and his father.
