Kinga Achruk (born January 9, 1989 in Puławy , born Kinga Byzdra ) is a Polish handball player who belongs to the squad of the Polish national team.

Career

Kinga Achruk started playing handball at the Polish club JKS Jarosław in 1997. At that time, her mother Małgorzata played in the women's team of Jarosław, with whom she ran up in the European Cup. Kinga's next stops were Orliku Lublin and SMS Gliwice. During her time in Gliwice , she was also in the squad of SPR Safo Lublin. In 2008 she signed a contract with the Polish first division club MKS Lublin. Achruk won the Polish championship with Lublin in 2011 and the Polish Cup in 2009, 2011 and 2013. In the summer of 2013 she signed the Montenegrin top club ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica . With Budućnost Podgorica, she won the championship and the Montenegrin Cup in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. In 2015 she won the EHF Champions League . She has been playing for the Polish club MKS Lublin since the 2017/18 season. With Lublin she won the Polish Championship in 2018, 2019 and 2020, the Polish Cup in 2018 and the EHF Challenge Cup in 2018 .

Kinga Achruk played a total of 175 international matches for the Polish national team until November 2018. With the Polish selection, she took part in the 2007 and 2013 World Championships . At the 2013 World Cup in Serbia , she finished fourth and scored 15 goals in nine games.

Kinga Achruk has been married to the Polish handball player Łukasz Achruk since June 27, 2015.
