The Kinzert is 553.3  m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Odenwald and is located in the district of Schloßau of the municipality of Mudau in the Neckar-Odenwald district of Baden-Württemberg , two kilometers west of the locality and 250 meters from the state border to Hesse .

Kinzert

The Kinzert is predominantly forested. On the east side, the field corridor from Schloßau reaches up to 538  m in height and at a distance of 400 meters from the summit point. In the southwest, already in Hessian territory, the Kinzert drops steeply to the Galmbach near Eduardsthal . This steep slope is called Heidenbuckel .
