description

The main part of the hall church is Romanesque . It has a retracted, rectangular choir tower . The originally existing apse in the east was removed during a later renovation. The tower was raised in 1867 and got a pointed helmet . During the repairs in 1968/69 the old church furnishings were removed except for a few parts. The nave is covered with a gable roof. In the west, a room was separated for the community. Above is the gallery for the organ . The organ with 10 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built by Adalbert Förtsch in 1879 . Their disposition was changed in 1972 by Günter Bahr . A new three-part altarpiece consists of five carved statues from various late Gothic altarpieces. The chalice-shaped baptismal font on a carved foot dates from 1682.
